Properties : Peepal tree is considered sacred by the followers of Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. It is used in traditional medicine for about 50 types of disorders including asthma, diabetes, diarrhoea, epilepsy, gastric problems, inflammatory disorders, skin diseases, eye pain, infectious and sexual disorders. In case of a snake bite 2 spoons of the extract of peepal leaves three to four times reduce the effects of the poison.
